Working in Europe, Asia, South America and the US, he is a successful strategic marketer with proven ability to grow revenues and brand equity. After receiving his MBA from Warwick University in 1989, Selbie started working within the energy sector, specifically BP - in Europe and in South America. In all cases, within the retail, marketing or strategy areas. Whilst in the US, Selbie was Innovations Manager at Tosco, then became Managing Director for ConocoPhillips' retail marketing business in Malaysia. Upon returning to the US, Selbie led the brand team at ConocoPhillips, then was VP Marketing at the security software company – Vidoop. In 2008 Selbie formed Oberon3, a company dedicated to helping any company elicit, receive and analyze customer feedback in real time.
