Girard is a licensed, professional civil engineer with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Girard has over seventeen years of experience with innovative, cutting-edge civil engineering. In 1998, Girard founded a concrete countertop manufacturing company, as a direct response to the growing demand for quality concrete countertops. In 2004 Girard founded The Concrete Countertop Institute, providing intensive training that helps contractors succeed in the business of making concrete countertops. As well as a website that provides excellent resources, Girard has added an annual conference to his portfolio—the Concrete Countertop Industry Conference. Girard is an active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). |
